Mrs. Meg

Hi, I'm Meg! I am Principal here at Exodus Academy. I have a decade of experience in education and professions in child life. I am passionate about sharing the love of Christ with the next generation. I am born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, and I currently live in Boiling Springs with my husband and daughter. I graduated from Anderson University in 2018. In my spare time I enjoy DIY projects and quality time with my friends and family.  I am eager and ready to help your students succeed! 

Mr. Jakeb

My name is Jakeb Perry, and I am half of the founding pair of Exodus Academy. My wife and I opened up Exodus in 2023. I  have a background in ministry (youth to be specific) and my passion is helping kids realize who they are in Christ. My role at Exodus is to manage the books for parents and staff, so you will be seeing me from time to time. In my spare time I enjoy coaching sports, constructing DIY projects, spending time with my family, and relaxing. I love the Georgia Bulldogs football team, and if I'm not repping Exodus Academy, I will be repping them. I'm excited to get to know your family better and see how we can serve you here. 

Mrs. Britney

Hello! I’m Britney, one of the founders of Exodus Academy, and I’m so glad you’re here. I bring more than a decade of experience in education, program development, and business management, along with a heart for helping children grow and thrive.

My husband and I live in Inman, South Carolina, with our five kiddos. We love beach getaways, traveling, and spending meaningful time together in God’s Word. And a good cup of coffee is always part of my day!

My prayer is that Exodus Academy will be a place where every child feels known, supported, and encouraged, and where God’s purpose unfolds in the lives of the families we serve. I’m grateful to be part of the Inman community and excited to welcome you to Exodus Academy.

Ms. Becky

Ms. Becky leads our Genesis Kids classroom for children ages 2K–4K, creating a warm space where our youngest students can learn, play, and grow.

She also helps lead our after-school program, bringing that same care and encouragement to students at the end of the school day.​

Mrs. Hailey

Hi! My name is Mrs. Hailey, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Studies, as well as a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have a wonderful husband and daughter, along with our two cats at home. My favorite Bible verse is, "Do everything in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:14. I am also an avid reader and love spending time with a good book.​​

Ms. Ciaran

Hello! My name is Ciaran Sligh, and I'm excited to be joining Exodus Academy as your Foundations Teacher! I will be teaching Math and Science for 1st-5th grade, and I couldn't be more ready for this opportunity.

I recently graduated from Benedict College with my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology. I have an extensive background with children, including my own mentorship program started in November of 2022.

When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me painting scenery, reading a fun book, or playing with my three dogs (yes, three!). I'm looking forward to a wonderful year! 

Mrs. Charlyne

Hey! My name is Charlyne Garcia and I am so excited to be joining Exodus Academy this year as the ELA/Social Studies/Science teacher! I have prayed that God would place me where he wants me to go, and I believe that Exodus Academy is that place. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!

I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Youth Ministry from North Greenville University. I am overjoyed to now be working at a place where I can cultivate the love of Jesus Christ in the next generation. 

I have been married to my AMAZING husband, Tavy Garcia, for 12 years. We are active members at Lake Bowen Baptist Church. In addition to serving God through my local church, I also enjoy crocheting, art journaling, reading, watching cooking shows, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Mrs. Doris

Hello! My name is Doris, and I’m excited to be joining Exodus Academy as a Teacher Assistant. I will primarily be supporting the first and second grade classrooms. I bring experience working with children of all ages and truly enjoy helping them grow and succeed. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and getting lost in a good book. I’m looking forward to a great year ahead!

Mrs. Lydia

Mrs. Lydia brings math and science to life for our middle school students through curiosity, discovery, and hands-on learning. She encourages them to ask questions, build confidence, and see the wonder in God’s creation. We can’t wait to share more about her soon!​

Mrs. Carrie

My name is Carrie Tucker, my husband and I have been married for nearly 20 years and we have 12 children. 

I’m on the youth staff at my church, I teach Sunday school and I’m a substitute teacher.

I enjoy taking scenic drives and trying new foods. I love Jesus, Dr Pepper, and my family and friends. 

Ms. Jayla

Our substitute teachers are a special part of the Exodus Academy family! When a teacher is away, they step in to keep the day running smoothly, help students feel cared for, and make sure the learning and laughter continue. We’re grateful for the kindness and flexibility they bring to our classrooms.​

Mr. Mike helps keep Exodus Academy running smoothly and looking its best. Whether he’s taking care of repairs or helping improve our campus, his work makes our school a welcoming place for students and families.
